關山 1954 ＠台東關山鎮
拿起話筒，聽這座小鎮自己說話。
1954 年，里壟鎮改名為關山鎮，小鎮第一次有了自己的名字。「關山 1954」是四台散落在鎮上不同角落的電話裝置，話筒裡是關山居民的聲音，帶你走一段他們眼中的關山。裝置上沒有螢幕，只有聲音，讓來的人可以暫時放下手機，聽關山，看關山。
機身取形於斗笠，漆上關山黃。機身一開始只有基本標示，其餘留白，居民和旅人可以拿到貼紙，貼在電話上，讓裝置隨著時間慢慢長出屬於小鎮自己的樣子。
Guanshan 1954
Pick up the receiver, and let the town speak for itself.
In 1954, the town of Lilong was renamed Guanshan and carried its own name for the first time. Guanshan 1954 is a set of four telephone installations scattered across the town. Lift a receiver and the voices of Guanshan's residents walk you through the town as they know it. There is no screen, only sound, so visitors can put their phones away and simply listen to Guanshan, and see it.
The bodies take their shape from the farmer's bamboo hat, finished in Guanshan yellow. Each phone starts with only basic markings; the rest is left blank. Residents and visitors receive stickers to place on the phones, letting each one take on its own look over time.
「關山 1954」希望透過電話、聲音與貼紙，
讓藝術真正進入不同的人、不同的生活路徑之中。
它不是完成於裝置被設置的那一刻，
而是持續在被使用、被參與、被回應的過程中，
慢慢成為屬於關山的小鎮記憶之一。
